Jason and his crew installed our paver patio in a week. Had some issues with some defective paver pieces, but the manufacturer got us a new palette. This finished patio looks great with the dark nitro sand in the joints, for a nice contrast. We will probably be using his company for redoing the lawn too. Thanks Jason!

When I first contacted JHS outdoor living I was hesitant since I got their number from Angi’s list. I have never used this app before. I thought I was going to get one layer block while making a flower bed in front of my house. Instead I got the most beautiful retaining wall. I am so happy with the job that they have done and highly recommend Jason for any of your excavating needs.

Jason and his team did an excellent job in designing, removing prior hardscaping, repositioning prior flagstone hardscaping in a safer, better way, and then installing a long, winding paver walkway to our dock from our patio. The resulting walkway is beautiful. A significant amount of excavation was required, and it was done timely and with a minimum of distribution to the rest of our yard. The quality of design was an excellent match with our patio and other hardscaping. Jason's team had to work around an irrigation system that is complex, which they did with minimal damage to the system. And for that one area that was damaged (something we expected would happen), Jason personally returned to our home, and spent hours (at no additional cost) finding and repairing the system as needed. An added bonus is that Jason noticed we had a significant drainage issues in various areas on our property, due to the slope of our yard, the resulting pooling of rainwater that prevented our yard from ever fully drying out, and incorrect installation of other drains that was potentially resulting foundation damage to our outdoor patio. He quickly identified multiple solutions to problems in those three areas, proposed and placed the necessary drains and capture basins, and solved problems that had persisted for years, and one in particular that could have done thousands of dollars in damages to our stone patio. Jason is a high quality, strong value, expert hardscape and landscaping resource. Highly recommend.
